the story of Helsinki Hotel

Everyday Sunday by | Plastic cup holder. Using disposable cups is common in hotels. Extending their function to a more specified and dignified level is my comment for a more playful way of living. Everyday Sunday is a plastic cup holder, which customizes a plastic cup for different situations by creating an illusion of authenticity.

Bedside furniture | Imagine hotel furniture gone through evolution. The rule of nature preserves only the essential in order to function. It saves material, space and energy. It is the struggle of survival of the fittest.
the story of Helsinki Hotel
Designers from the University of Art and Design Helsinki (UIAH) showed their perception of a hotel at the Milan Design Week 2007. An international group of 16 design students transformed their views of contemporary living in a collection of thought-provoking objects, telling the story of Helsinki Hotel. The group is part of the Masters of Arts program at UIAH, tutored by Professor Timo Salli and Designer Elina Aalto.
