Living Etc. is now my new favorite British home design publication.  As a designer I'm still trying to nail down my own design style but I think the Brits comes closest to representing what I still have in my head.  A heady mixture of tradition mixed with modern colors, a bit of kitsch and of course some rocking wallpaper makes for a fun and lively home.

Selepas melihat header cik Aziflasron, aku yang kebetulan takde keje ni buat je la header baru untuk beliau. Aku buat percuma je la. Bukan niat nak menggoda cik Aziflasron. Marah bini aku nanti. Haha. Nah!

I can hardly keep track of all the home decor magazines that Sherry reads. Domino, Elle Decor, Cottage Living, Better Homes & Garden, House Beautiful, O at Home and a seemingly endless list of other titles with the word "house" or home" wedged in there somewhere. Any attempts I've made to share this interest with her have left me feeling somewhat confused and emasculated.

Thank goodness the editors of Men's Health came to my rescue and just introduced Men's Health Living, the self-declared "world's first home magazine for men." I think this calls for a chest bump - who's with me?

I snagged the premiere issue on our way out of town last weekend, which meant Sherry actually took the first peek at it while I was busy navigating our Nissan through the Appalachians (a very manly endeavor, I should point out).

She fell in love with it. Not because it was girly (phew), but because it was well written and had a great collection of articles and advice...many of which were read aloud to me, so I can attest to its quality. It also got the stamp of approval from Sherry's BFF who once worked at one of those pubs with "home" on the cover.

Here's some of the things we learned:

• 137 ways a home can make you a better man
• Tips for picking a neighborhood that will help you exercise
• Easy ways to up your handy-man skills
• The 100 best and worst cities for men to live in (Richmond was #36)

There's plenty more in there, but I don't want to spoil it. I want you to go buy the issue - no matter your gender! - because I need this new mag to be successful enough that it'll start offering subscriptions. I can't let it join Blueprint in that big magazine rack in the sky.

Đúng ra thì các tay máy không bao giờ tiết lộ địa điểm chụp nude, số điện thoại của mẫu cho người ngoại đạo. Họ chỉ tiết lộ khi biết chắc anh là người của họ. Hải Lê từ chối việc tiết lộ studio: “Tôi không thể nói cho chị biết studio đấy của ai và nằm ở đâu. Vì đây là địa điểm dành cho những người thật sự quen biết”. Còn bạn Nguyễn Dương, một tay design chỉ có thể tiết lộ đến mức: “Có một địa điểm gần 2000m2 rực hoa vàng và rất vắng vẻ, chúng tôi hay thuê với giá 2 triệu/ngày để chụp. Còn nếu muốn chụp thì tôi sẽ dẫn đi”

Nhưng giờ đây các bạn trẻ thích chụp ảnh nude có nhiều lựa chọn hơn. Thay vào việc họ cứ phải lẽo đẽo theo các tay máy đến điểm hoang vắng ít người qua lại hay nhà nghỉ ngoại ô, hoặc khách sạn tươm tất nào đó xa Hà Thành thì họ đến ngay các studio đặt thẳng vấn đề chụp nude. Vì tính đến thời điểm này, địa bàn Hà Nội có studio công khai hay bán công khai dịch vụ chụp nude đếm cũng được vài chục địa điểm, nào Carolin Phố Huế, Tifio Bà Triệu; Phương Anh Thái Thịnh; Juliet Phố Huế…

Anh Phạm Kiên chủ Studio Carolin Phố Huế cho biết cứ mùa hè, các bạn trẻ thường tìm đến anh chụp nude. Với mức giá chung chung là 5 triệu/Album 30 ảnh. Anh Phạm Kiên thẳng thắn: “Chụp nude không đơn giản, nên khi chụp xong một bộ ảnh cưới nude cho đôi vợ chồng trẻ hay bộ ảnh nude cho các bạn, tôi phải thấy thật ưng ý và đẹp thì mới đưa lại cho khách, còn nếu tôi không ưng sẽ tự khắc bỏ bộ ảnh đó đi.”

Và cũng không phải khách hàng nào cũng thường xuyên chụp nude, có những khách hàng nghe tiếng nên tìm đến anh Phạm Kiên. Anh giữ nguyên tắc: “Nếu là ảnh nude cho dù có là ảnh cưới, chúng tôi cũng không giữ lại file ảnh gốc. Chúng tôi sẽ gửi trả tất cả cho khách hàng”

Còn chị Thùy Dương bên Studio Phương Anh tiết lộ bên chị không công khai dịch vụ chụp nude vì đây vẫn là vấn đề nhạy cảm. Còn nếu chụp, phía bên studio vẫn phải giữ file gốc ảnh nude và khách hàng phải trả thêm khoản tiền nếu muốn lấy file ảnh gốc về.

Rõ ràng ảnh nude chỉ còn là vấn đề bàn cãi trên giấy tờ của các nhà quản lý lẫn các chuyên gia nhiếp ảnh. Còn thực tế cuộc sống, các bạn trẻ gần như đã kịp “thủ sẵn” cho bản thân mình một vài bộ ảnh nude trước khi chưa già.
