Bloomberg is undoubtedly one of the biggest players in the financial industry offering a wide range of products for people in and around Wall Street. One of their products is the Bloomberg Terminal. It is a 17" dual screen setup that displays the financial information from Bloomberg Profession Services - all in one tightly packed system.

Design is extremely important. It is the tool you use to energise, inspire, empower, and encourage your employees to do better. A good working environment can transform a workplace.

There are some logo remakes that should be praised, and there are some that should be hazed.

When it comes to re-branding a corporate identity, you would imagine that the CEO would take great care in making such a decision. In some cases, this is not true. In fact, there are many cases where you begin to question the sobriety of those in charge when they decided to remake their brand.

Let’s start off with the logo redesign that sparked my desire to write this, which I stumbled upon at Under Consideration.

Dianetics and Scientology Christmas Catalog

The new Christmas catalog for Dianetics and Scientology materials has just been released. In terms of design, this copy smokes! Better than any other Christmas catalog I have ever seen, by far.

The catalog is fully translated into over a dozen languages, including Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian,  Japanese, Norwegian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Swedish.

ela tinha uns 17 anos e nem sabia o que era amor. mas já tinha ouvido demais sobre ele. em músicas, principalmente. ah, aquele amor que tudo supera, que tudo alcança, por ser únicoverdadeiroautênticoesuficiente. mais queria sentir do que efetivamente tinha borboletas no estômago. e quando, depois de poucos meses veio a rejeição, ela viu que era hora de tirar aqueles discos de nick drake da prateleira, arriscar uns lexotans e chorar nuvens de lágrimas sobre os olhos de ninguém, como uma boa adolescente.

voltando de um passeio, ouviu gal cantar "sua estupideeeez não lhe deixa ver que eu te amooooo". queria entender aquilo. as amigas até ajudavam, dizendo pra ela lutar por aquele relacionamento, porque o amor valia a pena. ela tentou. queria sentir aquelas tantas coisas que havia aprendido pelas canções. mas aquela música, apesar de tão sincera, não lhe dizia nada.

foi preciso que um ano se passasse e outro e mais outro e mais alguns se completassem para que a estupidez ligada ao amor fizesse sentido. e, finalmente, a música lhe falou tudo o que tinha tentado dizer naquele tempo passado. angustiada, ela só pensava em pegar o telefone e dizer o mais convicto "volta, meu bem". mas o lirismo necessário estava perdido entre desilusões, decepções e tentativas fracassadas. o que lhe restava agora era o vazio. e aquela bendita música no repeat.
